The regular meeting is held at Joinus on a Saturday (10:00 AM - 1200 noon) every month. After the meeting the participants enjoy chatting over lunch together. Yumiko Okakoi is in charge of the TIE group.

"Having lived in Akita city for a long time, there was no chance for me to explore it. However, opportunely I could see the attraction of Akita last year. Then I joined study trips for the city guides.
As you know it's been 400 years since Satake Clan ruled Akita and built the Kubota Castle in Senshu Park. I'd like to share what you know about Akita with all of you. If you are not from Akita, give us some information about your hometown.
It's the most marvelous when you can find the enchantment of your hometown, especially in your neighborhood so closely. Let me talk about my experience walking in Senshu Park and then let us listen to your stories of your neighborhood...."

Dr. Suzuki would like to have the part 2 of his presentation, which will take only one hour. The second half will be for discussing Tie salon itself; how should we do with our Tie. Let us have time to talk about how to make Tie Salon better and more meaningful.
