Dave Ragan's Class - All Freshmen

I visited Dave's class last Tuesday (April 17, 2001). About 15 Japanese students, all freshmen, are learning English. They are all fresh. They still have difficulty understanding and speaking English. It's only natural that most of them were just graduated from high school last month. It's only a week at MSU-A they have been learning English. But almost all of them will all be able to speak English well in about six months from now!

"Hello, students. It will be exciting to watch you developing your skills so quickly.
Stay 'genki'. See you."
Takeshi Suzuki

I often tell my students the following:
"Don't think that I am teaching you English! Because I can't. I am only helping you to learn English. You will learn to speak English well if you follow my advice and are willing to learn English for yourself. Someday you will be able to think in English as I do." Takeshi Suzuki
